Duties
- Deliver hot and cold dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring guest needs are promptly met.
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to meet restaurant standards.
- Handle food safely by following proper handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness during service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Aloha or Micros to ensure accurate order delivery.
- Help maintain a clean and organized service station, including restocking supplies and clearing used dishes.
- Support banquet or special event service by delivering meals swiftly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and general kitchen operations.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate smoothly with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or banquet service is advantageous.
