This is a full-time (40 hours), 10-month position. If mutually agreed upon, some additional work in the summer is possible, and commensurate compensation would be added. This position reports to the Upper School Principal.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and administrative support to school leadership, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing documents.
- Maintain accurate daily attendance records for students.
- Manage the registration processes for all Advanced Placement, PSAT, ACT and SAT testing
- Represent the Upper School at the weekly all-school calendar coordination meeting
- Assist with student records management, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Work closely with administrative support staff and faculty members on daily school operations.
- Support general office operations as needed, including front desk coverage and event coordination.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Previous experience in an administrative or school setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass federal and state background check along with MSDE Employment History Review.
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's years of experience at an educational institution and prior administrative experience and responsibilities. Candidates will be offered a competitive salary and are exempt from overtime within the range of $50,000 - $60,000, dependent on experience.
