Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering welding supplies, including regulated materials, to business customers while ensuring timely and accurate service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Load, transport, and unload welding supplies, including compressed gas cylinders
- Verify orders for accuracy
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Maintain delivery logs and required documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class C or higher) with Hazmat endorsement (required)
- Clean driving record
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 60 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)
