Independent School District 196 (Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan) is seeking a full-time Middle School English Language Development teacher. This position is responsible for teaching the English language to learners whose first language is not English with the goal of instilling and improving English language proficiency in reading, writing and conversational skills. Duties include teaching basic components of the English language, including vocabulary, word and sentence structure and communication strategies, along with assessing student performance on course subject matter through tests, homework, class projects, student interactions and other activities.
