Custodial Aide: $19.02 Hourly
If benefit eligible, benefits are available to new employees effective the first day of active employment. Responsibilities
- Work in the cafeteria area during lunch, remove trash, sweep and mop floor, etc.
- Assist in school recycling program.
- Pickup trash and sweep throughout the building.
- Spot clean walls, lockers, and entry glass.
- Perform duties in a timely, neat and efficient manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently.
- Must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties including lifting up to 30lbs on a regular basis and display flexibility in cleaning assignments.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, positive manner with staff, students and the public.
- Must have a desire to work in a cooperative manner and team environment.
- Must have a good attendance record and be punctual.
- Must have positive work performance evaluations. Must not have any recent disciplinary actions.
- Must conduct a positive interview and receive a good reference from current and previous supervisors.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
