Description:

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and patient-focused Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to support evaluations, equipment recommendations, and delivery of complex rehab technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Evaluations: Conduct evaluations to assess patient mobility and seating needs in collaboration with clinicians and therapists.
- Equipment Recommendations and Quotes: Generate equipment quotes based on patient needs and clinical recommendations. Follow up on any required modifications or adjustments.
- Complex Rehab Equipment Expertise: Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of complex rehab chairs and mobility equipment, ensuring appropriate product selection and configuration.
- Delivery and Patient Fitting: Deliver equipment and assist with proper seating and positioning for patients with complex mobility needs.
- HCPCS Knowledge: Maintain a working understanding of HCPCS codes related to mobility and rehab equipment to support accurate documentation and billing coordination.
- Follow-Up and Adjustments: Provide follow-up support to ensure equipment is properly fitted and make adjustments when needed to optimize patient comfort and function.
Required Experience
- ATP certification is a must
- Knowledge of complex rehab seating and mobility products
- Familiarity with HCPCS coding related to DME
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and internal teams
