What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Paraprofessional position at Independent Living Specialists?
Several positions available immediately! Our business is growing! Independent Living Specialists is now hiring responsible, reliable, compassionate, and motivated individuals to work as Direct Support Paraprofessionals for all shifts, both full and part time. We will work around school schedules, second jobs, or childcare as much as possible. Wages are dependent upon experience and prior education/certifications. Paid vacation/personal leave, sick leave and holiday pay all available after probationary period for both full and some part time positions. Mileage reimbursement available from hire for all employees. Candidates must be at least 18-years-old, and have at least a HS diploma or GED. Reliable transportation and minimum state liability vehicle coverage also required. Must be able to pass an Idaho Medicaid Criminal History check and have a good driving record (most recent 5 years). First Aid, CPR, and medication assistance certifications are required for all Direct Support Paraprofessionals, but are not pre-requisites for hire. ILS is a drug-free workplace.
