Independent Living Partners is seeking for an experienced PCA in the Minneapolis-St Paul area.
We are looking for a competent personal care assistants to provide care for individuals in their everyday lives. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or individuals with physical and behavioral challenges will make you a strong candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals receive their medication on time
- Support individuals who can’t move on their own
- Help individuals with eating, dressing, bathing, mobility, transfers, toilet use, positioning, personal hygiene etc.
- Assist individuals with meal preparations according to the individuals satisfaction & health restrictions
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional support
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Communicate with individuals' care team about their care
- Attend appointments with individuals
- Advocate for individuals well-being and provide companionship during the process of care
- Maintain a clean and tidy room at all times
- Maintain professional relationships with patients' family members or friends
- Adhere to health & safety standards/goals
- Provide respite for caregivers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
