Independent Auto Damage Insurance Appraisers wanted to cover territories in CT. Tolland/Windham County CT territory (Northeast corner).
We are currently hiring Independent Auto Damage Appraisers in Connecticut. Seeking motivated, self starters who thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. We are looking for appraisers with experience writing estimates with CCCOne estimating software. All our appraisers are independently owned and operated businesses. Please note this is a contract position and not hourly. You will be an Independent Contractor and will receive a 1099.
We are an appraisal management Co. that receives claims from Insurance Companies and contracts them out to our network of appraisers depending on where the claims is located. Your performance is graded on cycle time and other claim metrics. Normal cycle times are up to 3-4 days maximum.
We pay on a per claim basis, this includes setting the appointment, inspection, photos, estimate, any supplements, and total loss forms required, also providing status of the claim as needed/periodically. We ask that you turn the claims around in 3 business days. Contact owner, set appt and inspect vehicle within 48 hours of receiving the assignment. Complete estimate and associated tasks within 24 hours after inspection of vehicle. Provide status as needed during the process, at least every 48 hours.
You will be provided with CCCOne Estimating software at no cost to you and you will receive claims that are sent to CCCOne electronically and in the CCCOne database.
1099 Independent Contractor status – Full-time/Part-time available.
Auto estimating: Minimum 1 year (Required)
Demonstrated expertise in all areas of appraising including the latest in repair techniques for all types of vehicles and materials and in electrical, mechanical, design and construction.
Possess an IOS or Android device capable of taking and storing hundreds of pictures.
Windows based computer with high-speed internet.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must own a reliable vehicle with current insurance.
Valid CT driver’s license.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Good planning and organizational skills required.
ICAR Platinum Level and ASE preferred.
