Independent Home Health is looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers who want to make a difference in their community. Our caregivers provide one-on-one, non-medical care that helps individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living areas
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, or environment
- Remind and assist with medication schedules (as allowed by state regulations)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities
- Follow care plans and document services provided
- Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation assistance is required)
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds, depending on client needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic
- 1-year hands-on caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
Job Requirements:
- 18 years old or more
- Have a valid ID
- Able to pass a PA criminal background check
- Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years
- TB Clearance
