Class A CDL Driver/ Drilling Helper
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Class A CDL Driver/ Drilling Helper to join our
geotechnical drilling team.
This position involves more than driving. The selected candidate will transport drill rigs,
equipment, and materials to and from job sites and will also work alongside our drillers,
assisting with drilling operations and other job-site duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks requiring a Class A CDL
- Transport drill rigs, trailers, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Assist drillers with drilling operations and related field work
- Load and unload drill rigs, equipment, tools, and materials from trucks and trailers
- Secure equipment and loads for safe transportation
- Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment at job sites
- Perform general labor and other duties associated with geotechnical drilling
operations
- Help maintain trucks, trailers, drill rigs, tools, and equipment
- Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements
Work & Travel Requirements
Work may be local or out of town, depending on project locations. Applicants must be willing
and able to travel and stay overnight when required.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding position. Candidates should be comfortable
working outdoors in varying weather conditions, lifting and handling equipment and
materials, and working as part of a drilling crew.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate trucks and tow equipment/trailers
- Willingness to perform physical labor in addition to driving
- Dependable and able to report to work on time
- Ability to work well as part of a crew
- Willing and able to travel for out-of-town projects
- Drilling, construction, heavy equipment, or similar field experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
This is not a drive only job. We are looking for someone who is willing to work alongside the drilling crew and assist wherever needed while on the job site.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
