Overview
We are seeking Independent Contractors who are compassionate and dedicated Experienced Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to elderly individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control protocols
- Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care, through engaging activities and consistent routines
- Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare standards and care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive patient-centered support
Qualifications
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with elderly populations
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration
- Certifications such as RN, CNA, LPN, CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s care best practices in memory care environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and families
- Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to providing high-quality senior care
