ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
- Cost Accounting: Oversee and maintain the cost accounting system, analyzing production costs, inventory, and variances to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts and monitor financial performance against these targets.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, or relevant accounting standards, and coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular account reconciliations and ensure all financial data aligns with company records.
- Internal Controls: Strengthen and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks and protect company assets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and other departments to align financial strategies with business goals.
- ERP Systems Management: Utilize and enhance the ERP system for financial reporting and accounting processes.
