Member Service Representative

Overview

Join our team at the Independence Teachers Credit Union. Since 1959 ITCU has been a valuable benefit of the Independence School District.

As a Member Service Representative, you will be the friendly face providing the helpful service our members rely on. You'll help members with daily transactions, answer questions and guide members toward services and solutions that fit their needs.

You will join a small team that trains and works closely together. Our team shows a positive, can-do attitude. We encourage proactive thinking and teamwork. A strong desire for learning and self-improvement is a must.

Full-time benefits include paid vacation and sick time, Long-Term Disability Insurance and Wellness Center access. Monday thru Friday, no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors warmly, establishing a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor
• Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, direct calls, and provide information efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing member questions promptly and professionally, both in person and via phone or email
• Member Notary Services (Notary provided by the Credit Union)

Qualifications

• Familiarity with bookkeeping or accounting is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse member needs
• Previous experience working at a front desk or handling multi-line phone systems is preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude and effective communication abilities

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
