Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
• Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, sinks, tubs, and toilets with proper sanitation techniques.
• Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and pressure washing when necessary.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or furniture movement while following manual handling safety procedures.
• Support custodial tasks such as floor care—including buffing and polishing—and ensuring all cleaning tools are maintained in excellent condition.

Requirements

• Proven custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively while using PPE as required.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and infection control procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, pressure washers, and laundry machines is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
