Functional Family Facilitator

Independence Rising is rapidly expanding our service area and we want YOU! IR is currently seeking Functional Family Facilitators (FFF’s). As an FFF you must be motivated to coach, teach, role model, and provide face-to-face assistance in the family home or a community-based setting.

Our Functional Family Facilitators (FFF’s) work with consumers to strengthen family bonds, provide parenting education, life skills guidance, family permanency, safety and stability of children, goal setting, advocacy and much more.

We are currently seeking applicants in the following locations and surrounding towns: Ogallala, North Platte, Kearney, McCook, Lincoln, York, and Omaha.

*Travel and weekend availability for this position is required*

We offer many different positions: Part-time and full-time position.

Work Hours: Afternoons and evenings (a typical day is 2:30pm to 8:30pm). Some daytime hours are available based on the age of the child and parents’ schedule. You are paid for drive time and hours worked. Summer hours vary. You are required to work one weekend shift. The schedule is created to meet the needs of the consumer.

Internships- Vary based on location.

Background: MUST have a clean background.

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour (DOE and DOL).

· Call-in pay is $2.00 extra per hour/ per shift

· Employees working BOTH weekend days receive $2.00 per hour for the extra weekend day.

Qualifications:

• 2 Years of Human Services Experience or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services related field (Preferred)
• Must have basic computer knowledge and have access to a laptop/tablet keyboard combo or be willing to purchase.

Human Service experience includes: work experience, training, education, or life experience.
