At Independece Rehab and Nursing Center, We are currently seeking a RNAC to join our team.
The Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents in order to assure appropriate reimbursement for care and services provided within the Facility.

The Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents in order to assure appropriate reimbursement for care and services provided within the Facility.
Job Duties:
- Conducts concurrent Minimum Data Set (MDS) reviews to assure achievement of optimal allowable Resource Utilization Group (RUG) category.
- Oversees the overall process and tracking of MDS/Prospective Payment System (PPS) documentation and submission.
- He/she will integrate nursing, dietary, social recreation, restorative, rehabilitation and physician services to ensure appropriate assessment and reimbursement.
- Certification: Current, active license as Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience: One year of clinical experience. Experience with MDS completion, reimbursement, clinical resource utilization is highly desirable.
- AANAC Certificate strongly recommended
