Independence Plus has an immediate opening for a Healthcare Recruiter. This is a full-time position, working out of our Oak Brook, IL (DuPage County) office. This position will report to the Recruiting & Scheduling Manager. The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and assisting in the onboarding of nurses.

Our coverage area includes most of northern Illinois, including Chicagoland and the Rockford area.

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Proactively searches and works on multiple recruitment sources on a daily basis in search of nurses
- Interviews, screens, and schedules potential nursing candidates
- Researches and initiates new avenues to find quality applicants
- Attend Career Fairs and other hiring events to promote our openings and market our services
- Other duties as assigned and as required to fully perform the responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience preferred
- Strong sense of internal motivation and drive to hit departmental goals
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Adapts well to changes within a growing company
- Demonstrates a functional level of proficiency with computers and the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, online recruiting tools
