Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dental Assistant based in Durham, NC. The Dental Assistant will support dentists in providing comprehensive oral care by preparing patients for treatments, assisting during dental procedures, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area. Additional responsibilities include educating patients about proper oral hygiene and ensuring they have a comfortable and positive experience at the practice.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dental Care and Oral Care practices
- Basic knowledge or experience in Dentistry and Dental Assisting
- Understanding of Sterilization protocols and maintaining a hygienic workspace
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively
- Certification from an accredited dental assistant program is preferred
- CPR & Radiology Certification is a plus
