Requirements
- This position requires exceptional scheduling flexibility and availability around the clock (24/7) to help cover unexpected staff absences, accommodate new client needs, and fill shifts on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to assist clients during transitional periods of care.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to follow care plans, agency policies, and instructions from supervisors.
- Provide support and assistance to clients during transitions in care.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed and within the scope of the role.
- Follow established care plans and agency policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, caregivers, and other members of the care team.
- Help promote client comfort, safety, and independence.
- Adapt to changing client needs and scheduling requirements.
