A Typical Day Looks Like
- Maintain accurate records by keeping and tracking injury logs, safety audits and employee certifications.
- Assist in scheduling safety classes, drug testing, meetings, and tracking attendance.
- Help collect data, organize, and assist in preparing reports for leadership team.
- Communicate with new and current employees, answer safety questions and pass messages between workers and safety managers.
- Organize safety manuals and prepare files for safety management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the construction or related industries.
- Basic understanding of construction terminology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate and organized records.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
