Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene services including cleanings, x-rays, and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and individualized dental care
- Assist the dentist chairside when needed, ensuring patient comfort
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical histories
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile clinical environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist
- Skilled in dental assisting techniques, X-rays, and CAD software
- Proficiency with dental software
- Understanding of medical terminology, dental anatomy, and imaging tools
