What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Independence Contracting?
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of work site tasks including pipe installation, concrete work, quality control management, general and heavy duty construction processes and the ability to work with our team to meet project deadlines. Training will be provided.
Ability to travel to work locations when needed. Travel work will be 10 Days on and 4 days off. Including paid travel, hotel stay and per diem expenses.
OSHA 40 Hazwoper training is mandatory and will be provided.
Ability to pass an initial and random drug test screenings.
Responsibilities
- Ability to find and solve project issues and think ahead.
- Use hand tools, rotary laser levels, saws, plate tampers etc.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times during field operations.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 80 per week
