Indego Africa partners with women artisan entrepreneurs across Rwanda, Ghana, and refugee camps in East Africa—providing market access, training, and education to nearly 1,000 women each year. We’re entering an exciting phase of growth and are hiring a Chief of Staff to help take our impact to the next level.
The Role
We’re looking for a strategic operator and trusted right hand to the CEO—someone who can turn ideas into action, streamline systems, and keep complex global work moving across New York, Rwanda, and Ghana.

What you will do
- Drive execution on top organizational priorities
- Strengthen cross-team operations and processes
- Prepare board materials, CEO briefings, and strategic communications
- Support donor strategy and external partnerships
- Coordinate program milestones, budgets, and impact reporting
- Lead special projects to professionalize and scale our work
Who you are
- 5–8 years in consulting, strategy, operations, project management, or executive support
- Excellent communicator and relationship-builder
- Highly organized; thrives with complexity and multi-tasking
- Comfortable working globally and cross-culturally
- Mission-driven and entrepreneurial
Nonprofit experience is NOT required.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $90,000 dependant on experience
