About the Role
With our rapidly expanding client base and double-digit growth, we are excited to be hiring dynamic and strategic Director of Biddable Media to lead our paid media efforts in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
This role is responsible for driving strategy, execution, measurement, and optimization across key biddable channels, with an emphasis on Paid Search (Google, Bing) and Paid Social (Meta, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.). The ideal candidate brings a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on expertise, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, with a deep understanding of the regulatory and performance nuances in pharma marketing. This role requires a highly collaborative individual who is analytical and uses data-enabled problem-solving capabilities to deliver flawless biddable and programmatic media buys.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategy, Execution, Measurement & Optimization
- With Media & Strategy, co-develop campaign strategies for all biddable media channels, prioritizing Paid Search and Paid Social.
- Build and troubleshoot the execution of Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns.
- Define performance goals and KPIs in conjunction with strategy and analytics lead, ensuring campaigns are compliant, efficient, and measurable.
Relationship Management
- Understand client brand, media strategy, and competitive landscape
- Serve as the primary point of contact for biddable media-related discussions with clients, ensuring alignment on goals, strategy, and expectations.
- Build strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams, including strategy, media, analytics, and account.
- Manage external vendor and platform relationships, staying abreast of new features, beta opportunities, and compliance guidelines.
Vision & Capabilities Development
- Act as a thought leader in biddable media, continuously evaluating emerging platforms and trends (e.g., AI in paid media, privacy regulations, targeting advancements).
- Drive internal process development and media innovation frameworks that enhance speed-to-market and campaign effectiveness.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, curious, and collaborative media organization.

Qualifications & Experience:
- College degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications or science/medicine
- 7 years of digital media planning experience, some management experience preferred
- Pharma industry experience required
- Deep experience building and managing HCP and Patient biddable campaigns
- Expertise in biddable-channel media tools (e.g., SEMRush, Adthena)
- Expertise in DoubleClick, Google Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics 4, and other self-service platforms
- Experienced with media management & finance platforms (Media Ocean - Prisma or equivalent) and competitive intelligence vendors & tools (e.g., Vivvix, M3MI)
- Expert with productivity tools like Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, Microsoft Powerpoint / Google Slides, Microsoft Word / Google Docs
- Confidence in interpreting marketing & media performance data
- Understanding of SEO and earned media strategies and tactics
- Basic understanding of analytical tools used for listening, ad tracking, website, and app statistics
