Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for carriers — check drivers in and out professionally
• Input, verify, and maintain all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and packing lists
• Upload BOLs to the shared drive and mark all outbound orders as shipped before the end of each shift
• Coordinate or reschedule carrier appointments as needed to support workflow
• Notify leads upon driver arrivals and ensure appointments match warehouse readiness
• Scan inbound parcels daily and ensure tracking accuracy
• File and organize paperwork for accurate recordkeeping
• Print outbound BOLs for driver pickup
• Manage outbound schedules and dispatch updates throughout the day
• Act as a liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly

Requirements

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Professional communication skills (phone, email, in-person)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
