Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in El Cajon, CA, for a Job Coach. The Job Coach will assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their employment goals. Responsibilities include providing hands-on job training, guidance, and support to individuals in workplace settings. This includes fostering their independence, teaching necessary job skills, and helping them build confidence and self-reliance. Additional tasks include collaborating with employers to ensure successful workplace integration and maintaining detailed records of progress and performance.

- Strong Job Coaching and Career Counseling skills to guide individuals in workplace success and career development.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to effectively interact with diverse individuals and foster acceptance and inclusion.
- Proficiency in Coaching techniques to provide the appropriate training and skill-building tailored to individual needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in job coaching or related fields are advantageous.
- Adaptability, patience, and a passion for supporting others in achieving personal and professional growth.
