InControl Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Field Technician with 1-2 years of experience. The position is based out of our Houston, Texas office with the majority of work performed in the field.

The primary responsibilities of this position would be to support a wide variety of environmental projects including groundwater sampling, remediation oversight, remediation system installation, asbestos/mold assessments, and oversight of demolition and abatement. Experience in all listed responsibilities is not required, however, candidate must have a willingness to learn new skills.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Groundwater sampling
- Soil sampling
- Assisting with field activities associated with groundwater and soil remediation systems
- Asbestos sampling, if licensed
- Asbestos air monitoring, if licensed
- Lead sampling, if licensed
- Mold sampling, if licensed
- Construction/Remediation oversight
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- College degree is preferred
- Asbestos Inspector License is preferred
- OSHA training is preferred
- Class C Water Operator License is preferred
Required Skills/Abilities/Physical Requirements:
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle in the US and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Willingness and ability to travel and work in various outdoor site conditions and project locations (90% field work, approx. 20% overnight travel)
- Ability to pass a workplace physical, drug screening, and background check
- Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, clients, company personnel, and regulatory personnel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
