SCADA Engineer

Job Summary:

inCon-trol Water Systems is seeking a talented and driven SCADA Programmer with hands-on experience in VTScada to help design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for municipal and industrial water systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and program SCADA systems using VTScada software
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing SCADA systems
• Program and configure PLCs using DirectSoft and Allen-Bradley platforms
• Collaborate with engineers and field technicians to integrate new control systems
• Configure and test communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC)
• Provide remote and on-site support for system commissioning and maintenance
• Document system architecture, programming logic, and operational procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience with VTScada programming and configuration
• Strong understanding of SCADA architecture and industrial control systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming with DirectSoft and Allen-Bradley
• Skilled in troubleshooting SCADA networks and PLC communications
• Familiarity with water/wastewater processes and instrumentation is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with HMI programming using CMore
• Knowledge of other HMI platforms and integration
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial systems

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
