About This Opportunity
Are you passionate about solving complex infrastructure and application issues? We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to develop solutions that support our production applications and systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
In this role, you'll manage and maintain our monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, and implement automation to boost efficiency and reduce manual processes. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving intricate issues, making a significant impact on our operational success. Proficiency in understanding software applications, diagnosing customer issues, providing swift resolutions, and developing preventive strategies is required.
Responsibilities
· Develop solutions for supporting production applications and support systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve operational issues.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
· Manage and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
· Implement automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
· 5 years of experience in software development and technical support and/or Operations or similar roles
· Proficiency in some of the high-level languages, like Go, Java, Python, or C
· Familiarity with writing SQL Queries
· Sound knowledge of AWS ecosystem
· Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
· Familiarity with Relational Databases and PL/SQL, Excel or similar tools
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support
