With a long company history focused on agriculture, our business efforts expanded from Brazil to the United States in 1982. We process soybeans. Year-round, all day, every day. Our process and systems are cutting edge, consisting of our shipping & receiving facilities, high-volume grain dryer, 8 concrete 190,000 bushel silos and multiple facilities including soybean preparation, oil extraction, refinery, food-grade oil packaging and biodiesel production. We have a long-standing relationship with our suppliers of soybeans. Our soybeans are sourced from a number of local elevators and suppliers in Illinois and surrounding states.

- Animal Feed. Animal feed made from soybeans is the most important protein source used to feed farm animals. As a soybean processor, large quantities of soybean meal and soybean hull pellets are produced as a by-product of oil extraction. 

- Vegetable Oil. Incobrasa operates a state-of-the-art packaging and labeling facility that features various production lines of bottled and canned vegetable oil. 

- Biodiesel. Incobrasa is a member of the National Biodiesel Board. We are BQ-9000 and RFS certified, with an annual production capacity of 44 million gallons. Biodiesel is a renewable biofuel that is clean-burning and offers a replacement or supplement to regular diesel fuel. 

Barge- Pekin, IL

- Incobrasa recently acquired a barge operation in Pekin. Grain barge operation is a vital component of the agricultural supply chain, facilitating the efficient transportation of bulk grain.

- We receive, store, and transport Soybeans and Corn. Our corn capacity is 1,200,000 bushels, and our soybean capacity is 1,400,000. 

About the Role:

The Utility/Laborer - Meal Unloading position plays a role in supporting operations by efficiently handling the unloading of soybeans, loading of meal, pellets, biodiesel and distribution . This role ensures that all deliveries are received, inspected, and stored properly to maintain quality and safety standards. The position requires coordination with transportation and logistics teams, particularly within the railroad industry, to facilitate timely and accurate unloading/loading processes. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining smooth daily operations by managing physical labor tasks and adhering to safety protocols. 

• Experience working in the railroad industry or familiarity with railroad operations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols related to material handling and food safety.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to support scheduled operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in grain elevator or labor roles.
• Knowledge of USDA or other relevant food safety standards.
• Ability to operate basic equipment (trackmobile) and tools.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Responsibilities:

• Unload soybean shipments from railroad cars and other delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming soybeans for quality, quantity, and compliance with safety standards.
• Transport soybeans to designated storage or production areas within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization while unloading, loading, and storing areas.

Skills:

The required skills in the railroad industry are essential for understanding the logistics and safety considerations involved in unloading soybeans from railcars, ensuring smooth coordination with transportation schedules. Physical stamina and manual dexterity are used daily to handle heavy loads and maintain efficiency during unloading/loading tasks. Attention to detail is critical for inspecting meal shipments to prevent contamination or spoilage. Communication skills facilitate teamwork and problem-solving, ensuring that any issues during unloading/loading are promptly addressed to maintain operational flow.

• As part of our hiring process, all candidates are required to successfully complete a background check and a drug screening. Our testing panel includes THC. In accordance with company policy, a positive result for THC is not permitted.
