Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), tailored to each individual's needs.
• Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, promoting independence.
• Collect and analyze data related to behavior management and progress tracking to inform treatment plans.
• Assist in implementing educational strategies aligned with special education principles to enhance learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans that reflect clients’ evolving needs.
• Foster positive behavioral health environments by applying behavior management techniques and promoting patient care.

Requirements

• Experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other developmental challenges in a compassionate manner.
• Excellent data collection skills for monitoring progress and adjusting interventions accordingly.
• Prior experience in special education or behavioral health settings is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong communication skills for working with diverse populations.
