Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated General Laborers to support operations in our shop environment. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on construction experience who are comfortable working with tools, materials, and a variety of building-related tasks. Successful candidates bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience across carpentry, plumbing, and electrical-related work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and support carpentry, plumbing, and electrical-related tasks within a shop setting
- Read and follow drawings, measurements, and work instructions
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, grinders, etc.)
- Support fabrication, assembly, and preparation of materials and components
- Perform accurate measuring, cutting, fastening, and material preparation
- Follow all company safety standards and contribute to a safety-focused work environment
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials within the shop
- Organize tools, equipment, and materials to maintain efficient work areas
- Maintain cleanliness of shop spaces, tools, and equipment
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and inventory organization
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, building trades, or a related hands-on labor role
- Experience in carpentry, plumbing, and/or electrical work
- Comfortable using common construction tools and shop equipment
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math accurately
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from team leads
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
