What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collaborative Physician Assistant Certified position at InclusiCare Medical?
InclusiCare Medical is seeking collaborative physician assistants to join our growing practice as independent contractors providing patient-centered primary care. This flexible role offers a mix of in-person and telemedicine opportunities for clinicians who value autonomy, diversity, and meaningful patient relationships.
About the Role
You will provide care in accordance with professional standards, Arizona regulations, and InclusiCare’s clinical quality expectations. Providers have the opportunity to build their own patient panel over time, creating continuity and long-term relationships with patients.
Key Details
- Compensation: Performance-based compensation with rapid scaling potential (typical range $25–$35 per visit depending on volume)
- Location: Remote or in-person based on your schedule.
- Clinical Teaching: Opportunities to precept PA students. Preceptors receive a majority of the paid clinical placement fee from student programs as a stipend.
- Technology Requirements:
- VPN access provided by InclusiCare Medical.
- Providers use their own devices in compliance with InclusiCare’s IT security standards (BYOD policy), if working from home.
- Insurance & Licensing: InclusiCare Medical provides professional liability insurance for this role, but the applicant must be licensed in Arizona and board-certified.
Ideal Candidate
- Board-certified PA with an active collaborative Arizona license.
- Comfortable with telemedicine care or in-clinic care.
- Strong commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality care.
- Interest in clinical teaching and mentoring students is highly valued.
Why Join InclusiCare Medical?
- Build your own patient panel and clinical style
- Flexible scheduling with true autonomy (no micromanaged shifts)
- Serve a diverse, high-demand patient population in Phoenix’s Melrose community
- Opportunities to grow into higher-volume or specialized care (e.g., LGBTQ care, HIV care, preventative services)
- Participate in clinical teaching and mentorship
Independent Contractor Status
This is an independent contractor role. Providers maintain autonomy over their schedule and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits in accordance with IRS guidelines.
Credentialing
Selected independent contractor providers should anticipate a credentialing period of approximately 90 days for InclusiCare Medical to secure enrollment with the necessary insurance payers to support standard clinical operations.
Expectations
Credentialing typically takes approximately 60–90 days, after which providers can begin seeing insured patients. As a new and expanding practice, patient panels are still developing, and providers should expect an initial period of modest volume with the opportunity to actively build and grow their individual practice over time.
