A leading Am Law 50 law firm with nationally recognized Corporate, Litigation, and Intellectual Property practices is seeking talented mid-level and senior associates to join its expanding offices in key markets including New York, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
The firm represents Fortune 500 companies, private equity sponsors, emerging growth companies, financial institutions, and global technology and life sciences clients in sophisticated, high-stakes matters across a broad range of industries.
Open Practice Groups
Litigation
The Litigation group handles complex commercial disputes, securities litigation, white collar investigations, appellate matters, regulatory enforcement actions, and multidistrict litigation in federal and state courts nationwide.
Corporate
The Corporate practice advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, venture-backed companies, and strategic investors in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, capital markets offerings, financings, governance matters, and general corporate counseling.
Intellectual Property
The Intellectual Property group represents clients in patent litigation, trade secret disputes, IP licensing, technology transactions, trademark and copyright matters, and cutting-edge disputes involving AI, software, life sciences, and telecommunications technologies.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of relevant large law firm experience
- J.D. from a top-tier accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Experience at an Am Law 200, Vault-ranked, or highly regarded boutique law firm preferred
- Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage substantive workstreams and interact directly with clients
- Active bar admission in at least one applicable U.S. jurisdiction
Preferred Credentials
- Federal clerkship experience strongly preferred for litigation candidates
- Meaningful M&A, private equity, or capital markets experience preferred for corporate candidates
- Technical background or USPTO registration preferred for IP candidates
- Experience supervising junior associates and coordinating deal or case teams is a plus
Compensation
Expected annualized salary range:
- Mid-Level Associates: $260,000–$390,000
- Senior Associates/Counsel Candidates: $390,000–$525,000
Compensation will be determined based on experience, office location, practice area, and overall qualifications. Associates are also eligible for:
