Overview

This handbook outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and compensation structure for the Sales Representative role at Incline Shine Window Cleaning.

This is a performance-driven position designed to reward effort, consistency, and high-value sales.

Section One: CompensationBase Pay:

  • $20 per hour
  • Guaranteed raise after 60 days of employment
  • Minimum increase: $2/hour

Base pay is designed to provide stability while allowing focus on quality interactions and long-term customer relationships.

Section Two: Tiered Commission

Commission is based on the total value of each job sold. The higher the job value, the higher the payout percentage.

Commission Tiers

  • Tier 1 (Small Jobs): $0 – $300 → 5% commission
  • Tier 2 (Medium Jobs): $301 – $799 → 7.5% commission
  • Tier 3 (Large Jobs): $800 – $1,999 → 12% commission
  • Tier 4 (Premium Jobs): $3,000 → 15% commission $0.50/hour base pay increase.

Commission is calculated from the total service agreement value (job price).

Section Three: Weekly Performance Bonuses

Weekly bonuses are based on total sales volume:

  • Tier 1: $0 – $999.99 → No bonus
  • Tier 2: $1,000 – $4,999.99 → $100 bonus
  • Tier 3: $5,000 – $9,999.99 → $250 bonus
  • Tier 4: $10,000 → $500 bonus per $10,000 sold

Example: $20,000 in sales = $1,000 bonus.

Week to Week is Sunday at 12:00 am to Sunday at 12:00 pm.

Section Four: Rules for Getting PaidEligible Sales Channels

You will be paid on completed sales generated through:

  • Door-to-door prospecting
  • Networking in town
  • Business-to-business outreach
  • Door hangers
  • Cold calls and emails

Commission Rules

  • Commission is earned on completed jobs only
  • If a client cancels before service begins → no commission is paid
  • If work has started and the job is stopped for any reason beyond your control → commission will still be honored
  • If you generate the lead, you receive the commission

Collaboration

  • Use the business owner as a resource for:
  • Bidding help
  • Pricing questions
  • Closing support
  • This is a team environment. The goal is to win jobs and grow together, not compete internally
  • You will not be paid for clients renewing their service agreements.
  • You will not be paid if I have to override you and close the deal myself.
  • Any unforeseen areas will be discussed and a fair conclusion will be met.

Section Five: Role ExpectationsDaily Responsibilities

  • Prospect neighborhoods and identify potential customers
  • Initiate conversations with homeowners
  • Clearly explain services and pricing
  • Provide accurate quotes
  • Close sales and schedule jobs

Performance Focus

  • Consistent daily effort (doors knocked and conversations held)
  • Target higher-value homes and full-service opportunities
  • Maintain professionalism and strong communication

Section Six: Professional StandardsConduct

  • Be respectful, honest, and professional at all times
  • Represent Incline Shine with integrity
  • No aggressive or misleading sales tactics

Appearance

  • Maintain a clean, presentable appearance appropriate for neighborhood canvassing

Communication

  • Keep clear and consistent communication with the business owner
  • Accurately track and report all sales made
  • Utilize Nike Rub Club to track yourself and send route to owner at the end of each work day.

Section Seven: Sales Tracking

All sales must be documented in the company tracking system.

Required details:

  • Customer name
  • Address
  • Contact information
  • Job scope and price
  • Scheduled service date

Signed Compensation Agreement

This Compensation Agreement is entered into between Incline Shine Window Cleaning ("Company") and the undersigned Sales Representative ("Employee").

By signing below, both parties agree to the following terms:

Compensation Terms

Base Pay:

  • $18–$22 per hour based on experience
  • Guaranteed raise after 60 days of at least $2/hour

Commission Structure:

  • Tier 1: $0 – $300 → 5%
  • Tier 2: $301 – $799 → 7.5%
  • Tier 3: $800 – $1,999 → 12%
  • Tier 4: $3,000 → 15% $0.50/hour base pay increase

Commission is calculated based on the total service agreement value.

  • $5,000 – $9,999 → $250
  • $10,000 → $500 per $10,000 sold

Payment Conditions

  • Commission is paid on completed jobs only

  • If a job has started and is stopped for reasons outside the Employee’s control, commission will still be paid
  • Sales must be properly documented to qualify for commission

Lead Ownership

  • Any lead generated by the Employee through approved channels will be credited to the Employee
  • The Employee will receive full commission for credited sales

  • This agreement may be adjusted by the Company as business needs evolve
  • Any changes will be communicated in writing
