Sr. ERP Delivery Lead/Functional Architect – (Onsite) Location: Bronx, NY (Only local candidates within ~1/2 hours travel time each way) Employment Type: Full-Time Contract | Onsite Duration: 6 months (with extension potential) Tentative Start Date: January 5, 2026 Role Summary We are seeking a Senior ERP Delivery Lead / Functional Architect with 10 years of ERP implementation experience to lead functional delivery, drive system adoption, and ensure delivery excellence across manufacturing and distribution operations. This role goes beyond traditional ERP configuration. The successful candidate will act as the functional authority and delivery owner, combining deep ERP functional expertise, strong technical fluency, and hands-on leadership to guide implementation teams through design, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live stabilization. Key Responsibilities ERP Delivery & Functional Leadership Own end-to-end ERP functional delivery across all phases: design, build, testing, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live stabilization. Act as the functional architect, ensuring ERP solutions align with business processes, scalability, data integrity, and operational best practices. Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design decisions, and process standardization across business units. Technical & Integration Oversight Provide hands-on functional leadership across core ERP areas, including Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Finance integration, and Order Management. Oversee and validate ERP integrations with WMS, MES, TMS, CRM, BI platforms, and legacy systems. Review and validate functional specifications, integration mappings, and data migration strategies. Partner closely with technical teams and system integrators to ensure high-quality, supportable solutions. Testing, Data & Go-Live Ownership Lead UAT planning and execution, defect triage, and release readiness decisions. Own data migration validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness. Lead Go-Live execution and post-Go-Live hypercare, ensuring system stability and business continuity. Adoption & Delivery Excellence Drive ERP adoption through structured training, documentation, and change management. Define and track ERP success metrics, including data accuracy, adoption rates, defect leakage, and process efficiency. Continuously improve ERP processes and user experience post-implementation. Team Leadership & Mentorship Lead and mentor ERP functional consultants, business analysts, and implementation partners. Act as the escalation point for functional, delivery, and adoption issues. Enforce delivery standards, documentation discipline, and ERP best practices. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Serve as the primary ERP liaison between business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors. Facilitate executive updates, steering committee discussions, and delivery status reviews. Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Required Experience & Qualifications Experience 10 years of ERP implementation experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar). Multiple full-lifecycle ERP implementations in manufacturing or distribution environments. Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to train personnel & end users. Proven experience leading ERP workstreams or functional teams. Strong onsite delivery experience during UAT, Go-Live, and stabilization phases. ERP & Technical Expertise Deep functional expertise in Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Finance integration. Strong understanding of ERP data models, integrations, and reporting/analytics. Experience with data migration, validation, and reconciliation. Exposure to legacy platforms (AS400 / iSeries) preferred. Leadership & Communication Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority. Strong delivery mindset focused on quality, adoption, and long-term system success. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
