Role Description
This is a flexible and paid by client hour in the areas of York and Adams Counties, Pennsylvania for an Early Intervention Physical Therapist. The role includes developing individualized goals and targets and providing in-home and community-based physical therapy services to infants and toddlers. The therapist will work closely with families and caregivers using a coaching model to promote physical development, assist with mobility, and provide guidance on daily activities that enhance motor skills. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for each child’s developmental needs and documenting progress according to regulations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Physical Therapy practices, Rehabilitation techniques, and general Medicine relevant to early intervention
- Strong knowledge of Patient Care and Home Care with experience in providing services within family or community settings
- Ability to create and execute individualized plans to support physical development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other professionals
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Pennsylvania
- Experience or specialization in Early Intervention or pediatric care is a plus
- Familiarity with service documentation standards and requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites
