The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician II to support the service needs of its customers. The Electrician will work at the Dallas InCharge Office, reporting to the Service Manager. Key aspects of the work include running conduit, wiring and installation, diagnosing and repairing trouble with charging infrastructure in addition to handling regularly scheduled maintenance. The role requires significant regional travel with a focus on ensuring a timely and customer-centered turnkey delivery experience. Key objectives include maintaining safety standards and timely completion of high-quality field installation work, and field support. 

What You’ll Do

  • Understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations
  • Panel Work: Installing breakers, labeling circuits, and understanding load balancing 120v/277/480
  • Performing accurate calculations for circuits, panels, and service loads 
  • Identifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently short circuits for lighting and power distribution
  • Some EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit installation experience 
  • Installation of emergency drivers, contactors, time clocks and troubleshoot EMS systems
  • Familiarity with smart panels, EV chargers, and renewable energy system
  • Represent the company at client locations with the highest standards of professional conduct
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in Procore and Field Lightning
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Your Experience and Capabilities

  • 5 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings
  • OSHA 30 Card required or ability to obtain in 120 days of hire
  • Associate’s degree or higher in an applicable technical field is desirable
  • ASE or other applicable certifications are desirable
  • Commercial Driver’s license or ability to obtain is highly desirable
  • ECAP certification (internal requirement) or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • EVITP Certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Adaptable to the changing dynamics of start-up business strategy
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner)
  • Proficiency with Procore, or equivalent software a plus
  • Ability to Travel 25-50%

US Hourly Range

$34 - $38 USD
