Senior Cost Accountant/Plant Controller

We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant/Plant Controller to support financial operations with an already successful, but rapidly growing manufacturing company This role is responsible for cost accounting, inventory control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance. The position partners closely with leadership to provide financial analysis and insights that support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage standard costing, overhead rates, variance analysis, and cost reporting
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and oversee physical inventories within the ERP system
• Lead monthly close and prepare financial reports for leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with financial policies
• Partner with auditors, HR (payroll coordination), and cross-functional teams
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ERP systems, standard costing, and US GAAP
