Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of personal injury litigation, from case intake through resolution or trial
- Conduct client intake, listen to concerns, and provide clear, professional guidance
- Investigate accidents and incidents, gather evidence, and review medical records, police reports, and witness statements
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial materials
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and motion proceedings
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to maximize client recovery
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, counsel, experts, and the court
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cases move efficiently and strategically toward resolution
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Open to all levels of experience (1 years preferred for junior-level candidates; 5 years preferred for senior-level candidates)
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with depositions and trial preparation; first- or second-chair trial experience preferred for senior candidates
- Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and personal injury litigation best practices
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset
