Key Responsibilities
- Manage defense litigation matters in commercial and related practice areas, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents for defense-oriented cases.
- Conduct legal research and perform in-depth analysis to support defense strategies.
- Collaborate with senior defense attorneys, co-counsel, and support staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Nevada Bar required.
- 1 or more years of litigation experience preferred, ideally in commercial litigation or other defense-focused matters (employment, construction, professional liability, insurance coverage, environmental, toxic tort, product liability, general liability).
- Strong written and verbal advocacy, research, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple defense matters independently while collaborating with team members.
- Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment while remaining engaged with the national defense practice.
- Work on high-profile commercial defense matters nationally, with flexible remote or in-office arrangements.
