Position: Senior Network Engineer
Compensation: $50 - $58/hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing network infrastructure, ensuring high performance and security.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers using CLI (models include 9300, 2960, and 3650)
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ISE, including 802.1x authentication, device identity and access control, and user/device troubleshooting within a secure network environment
- Manage VPN configuration and troubleshooting using Cisco ASA / AnyConnect
- Administer and monitor the Cisco Meraki Dashboard, including MX64 and MX67 wireless and security devices
- Utilize SolarWinds for network monitoring, including adding and managing nodes, alerts, IPAM, logging, mapping, and live session analysis
- Maintain and update network documentation and network diagrams using Visio
- Collaborate daily with an outsourced SIEM/SOC vendor to investigate network threats and vulnerabilities and track security incidents through ticketing systems
- Work with outsourced firewall and security vendors on network security posture, firewall modifications, and escalations
- Partner with ISP providers (AT&T) to manage redundant circuits for home office and remote/claims offices, including circuit troubleshooting and vendor coordination
- Engage vendor support (TAC and third-party services) confidently and proactively
- Follow established change management processes and recommend network hardware and software improvements as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years of related network engineering experience
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and the OSI model (L2/L3, DNS, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, HSRP, QoS, IPSEC)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, including:
- Cisco Core Switches (9Ks), ASR Routers
- Cisco ISE (required)
- Cisco AnyConnect VPN
- Cisco Meraki wireless and security appliances
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostics tools
- Comfortable working in a security-focused environment and collaborating with SOC teams
- Proactive, go-getter mindset; not afraid to call TAC or engage vendors
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with VMware or cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Barracuda ADC Load Balancers
- Zoom Administration experience
