Audit Manager

Position: Audit Manager

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Audit Manager to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as an Audit Manager, where you will lead the Internal Audit Department and collaborate with executive management to enhance operations, governance, risk management, and internal controls. This role offers a strategic opportunity to drive organizational success and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans
• Provide independent assurance on governance and risk management
• Oversee audits covering financial, operational, and compliance risks
• Champion emerging technologies to enhance audit efficiency
• Report audit results to senior management and Board of Directors
• Lead and mentor a high-performing audit team
• Monitor emerging risks and advise on strategic resilience
• Manage relationship with external auditors

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• CPA Certification strongly preferred
• 8-10 years in public accounting, internal audit, or corporate accounting
• Strong expertise in GAAP and GAAS
• Bachelor’s degree in business disciplines
• Leadership experience in managing audit functions
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Deep understanding of internal audit methodologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Construction industry experience
• Experience with AI-driven audit tools
• MBA or relevant certifications
• OSHA 30 certification or higher
• Local to Kansas City Metro area
