Job Title: Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst – Life Sciences (Patient Connect)

Overview
We’re looking for a Technical PM/BA with hands-on experience in Life Sciences, specifically in Patient Connect, Patient Support Services or similar patient-centric programs. The role combines project leadership, requirement gathering and coordination with cross-functional teams to support digital patient engagement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution and delivery for Patient Connect initiatives.
• Gather, document and refine business requirements by working closely with business teams, product owners and technology partners.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, data, compliance and vendor teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Track project milestones, risks and dependencies and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement and UAT for patient engagement platforms.
• Ensure all solutions follow life sciences compliance standards, including privacy, consent management and data handling guidelines.
• Review system workflows for patient onboarding, enrollment, adherence monitoring, HCP interactions and program operations.
• Manage documentation such as BRDs, user stories, process flows and status updates.
• Partner with analytics teams to review patient program performance and identify improvement areas.
• Work with external vendors or platform providers supporting Patient Connect operations.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong background in Life Sciences with Patient Connect, Patient Support Programs, HUB services or patient engagement solutions.
• 10 years as a Project Manager or Business Analyst in pharma, biotech or healthcare.
• Experience with digital patient platforms, CRM tools, case management systems or specialty pharmacy workflows.
• Ability to write clear user stories, process flows and technical requirements.
• Good understanding of data flows involving patient onboarding, eligibility checks, benefits verification and therapy adherence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Familiarity with compliance needs such as HIPAA, pharma regulations and patient privacy.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Veeva, or other patient support platforms.
• Background working with specialty pharmacies, HCP portals or patient communication systems.
• Certifications like PMP, CSM or SAFe are helpful.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences, engineering or healthcare background preferred.
