Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst - Wealth Management to join our growing team in Austin. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong analytical expertise and a deep understanding of wealth management, financial services, and client portfolio data.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, investment teams, and technology partners to analyze large datasets, generate actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making across wealth management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze wealth management and client portfolio data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support advisors, portfolio managers, and leadership teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support client segmentation, performance reporting, and investment strategy analysis.
- Work with enterprise data platforms, ensuring integration across multiple financial systems.
- Provide insights into client behavior, portfolio performance, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal data governance standards.
- Partner with technology teams to optimize reporting processes and automate workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis within wealth management, asset management.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, investment portfolios, and wealth advisory operations.
- Hands-on expertise in SQL, Excel, Tableau / Power BI for reporting and analytics.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake is preferred.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance in financial services.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to CRM and portfolio management systems.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics, AI/ML applications in financial services, or automation tools.
- Certifications in data analytics, financial analysis, or wealth management are a plus.
