TASKS REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Transfer, meal prep, med reminders, light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, shaving, feeding
We are looking for an immediate hire with a competent Certified Home Health Aide to support our challenged customers, whether is physically or mentally assisting them in their everyday lives. If you’re a compassionate, positive person who isn’t afraid to work hard, this job is for you. Our part-time hours are ideal for anyone looking for multiple positions or for students with a busy schedule. We expect all of our employee’s to be polite and have good communication. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will be necessary.
SCHEDULE - 21 hrs/wk: Mon 9:00A-4:00P,Wed 9:00A-4:00P,Sat 10:00A-5:00P
Requirements: Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
Responsibilities:
- Ensure clients receive their medication on time
- Support clients who can’t move on their own
- Help clients dress, bathe, eat, etc.
- Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
- Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
- Help customers with their shopping
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional support
- Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency”
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
