Job description:
**This is an in-person role. Those still in school will not be considered.**
This is a focused, high-activity role with one clear mission: book qualified meetings with New York business owners who are open to exploring what their business is worth and what selling could look like for them.
If your sales experience is mostly inbound, order-taking, or warm leads handed to you, this isn't the right fit. We're looking for someone who has picked up the phone cold, talked their way past gatekeepers, and has the numbers to prove it.
What You'll Do
- Make high-volume outbound calls to small business owners across New York
- Open conversations, build rapport quickly, and qualify interest in selling
- Book a minimum of 4 confirmed meetings per week on the broker's calendar
- Maintain accurate call logs and lead records after every interaction
- Refine your pitch based on what's working — you'll be heard and your input matters
What Success Looks Like:
4 (or more) booked, confirmed meetings per week with qualified business owners. Everything else supports getting there.
You're the Right Fit If You Have:
- Proven outbound cold calling experience — B2B preferred
- A track record you can speak to: calls per day, conversion rates, quota attainment
- Worked in industries like insurance, financial services, real estate, staffing, or similar
- Titles like SDR, BDR, Appointment Setter, or Outbound Sales Rep on your resume
- A professional, confident phone presence that business owners respond to
- The ability to handle objections without folding — and without being pushy
Compensation:
- $20/hour base
- Per-meeting bonus for every qualified meeting booked — paid on top of your hourly rate
- Bonus per signed listing and closed sale
