We are looking for a proactive and experienced Freelance Fractional Project Manager to oversee our small to medium contract-based soundproofing renovation projects across both commercial and residential sectors.
In this role, you will be the boots on the ground and the brain behind the operation—ensuring that our quality standards are met, deadlines are respected, and clients are thrilled with the results.
🏗️ What You Will Do:- Site & Crew Management: Oversee daily operations, managing workers and subcontractors. You will be responsible for enforcing site standards, disciplining staff when necessary, and making the call to hire, fire, or replace workers to keep the project moving.
- Project Execution: Ensure all work meets strict deadlines and our high-quality soundproofing standards.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify on-site issues (structural, logistical, or mechanical) and implement effective, timely solutions.
- Logistics: Manage inventory and order supplies/materials as needed to prevent downtime.
- Client Relations & Growth: Provide top-tier customer service, address client concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling additional services or upgrades.
- Reporting: Submit comprehensive end-of-day progress reports, complete with detailed site photos and updates.
- Core Expertise: Deep knowledge of drywall and commercial interior systems (including metal stud framing, drywall installation, and acoustic insulation).
- Cross-Trade Knowledge: A solid, mixed understanding of construction in general with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to effectively coordinate trades and spot potential conflicts.

- Highly Organized: You don't let details slip through the cracks and can juggle multiple small-to-medium projects efficiently.
