Lead Budtender - Part Time

Inaru is a brand new dispensary coming to Boulder, CO! We are looking for an experienced part-time Lead to join our team.

Job Title: Lead Guest Guide, aka Lead Budtender

Location: Unincorporated Boulder County

Reports to: General Manager

Pay: $19.50/Hour Tips

Schedule: 24 hours/week. Opening shifts: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM; Closing shifts: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Duties:

• Lead dispensary operations during assigned shifts.
• Open and close the dispensary according to established procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, audits, and product receiving.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Lead by example and promote a service-minded, positive environment.
• Ensure operational excellence by following SOPs, compliance regulations, and established internal processes; report any compliance issues, concerns, or violations to store leadership in a timely manner.
• Assist with returns and exchanges, ensuring a hassle-free process for customers.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and register reconciliation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Identify and resolve customer account issues.
• Educate customers on the uses of cannabis products to meet their desired effects.
• Provide coaching in the moment to employees and escalate employee concerns or issues to store leadership in a timely manner.
• Support store leadership in achieving business growth.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of compliance activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have obtained a valid Employee Badge from the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division.
• Previous cannabis industry experience.
• Experience with cannabis POS systems and inventory management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of different cannabis strains and products.
• Ability to coach and influence others.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid and active Responsible Vendor Training certification.
• Experience using Dutchie Register and Backoffice.
• Experience using Metrc.
• Experience receiving cannabis product deliveries.
• Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Sheets, Word, and Excel.
